This one shocked me. Knew of Page’s D1 signed athletes and thought they would be motivated to finally get over the hump. After watching them play I did not think they were very good and it speaks for 5A mid/west Tn football on the level they are at. Saw SC a few times and thought they got by the skin of their teeth vs Powell and West and the magic would end. Congrats to the Smokey Bears

Didn't think they were very good?  Say no more, you are biased!

They allowed 31 yards rushing on 28 carries!  Sevier County made the plays that they needed to make, but they threw for I believe 150 yards.  The two fumbles were a killer, and that TD that got called back ended up being a 14 point swing.

Sevier County's offensive line again did its job like they did in the Oak Ridge game, very good protection for the quarterback, giving him clean pockets and good initial push for the running backs to bounce out with clean runs. Page offense was not too good and the Bears handled them pretty well. The blocked field goal was the game breaker, Page is not a comeback team on offense, they need to play with a lead and use their defense to hold it. Congratulations to Sevier County. I think Page would have lost to Powell, West and maybe a full strength Oak Ridge team,

Clean Runs?  They averaged just over a yard a carry!  28 carries for 31 yards.

Page had 169 yards rushing!

The difference maker was clearly the two fumbles and the TD on the blocked kick.

The turnovers killed us more than anything! The difference between this year and the previous three is that there were NOT as many head scratching calls this time. I wondered if the kids were waiting for some out of realm play calling like before. It wasn't the play calling that got us like the past three times.

I don’t think play calling had anything to do with the first 2. I mean one was a running clock. Last year was atrocious play calling. This year was a good game and the ball bounced SC’s way.

The only questionable call in my eyes was attempting the 47 yard FG in the cold.  I think his long this season was 20 yards.
