Better across the board. OL play much better and QB is a WEAPON.

BUT Alcoa is Alcoa haha people have been saying we can do it for years and it hasn't been done. We will see how for eal this Springfield team is facing East Nashville and Pearl in back 2 back weeks. But i expect this Jackets team to be pretty good.

Good Stuff!  You all made it to the Semi's in 5a last year so figured if you had players coming back that you would be in the hunt coming out of the West

4A is a who’s different animal as we all know. I enjoy when I Jackets play in this class. There are more 4A schools around us and there is less travel and more chance for regular season rivalry games

Just like when McCallie was ranked one or two in the state a couple years ago and Alcoa scrimmage them in the summer and beat them by 3 or 4 scores. Those state and national rankings are a joke. At the end of the year there might have been a couple schools that could have competed with Alcoa and that includes Ravenwood. Alcoa was much better at the end of the year than in the beginning.

Bringing a who the heck knows scrimmage up from years ago haha could have competed I think there was 4-8 teams that beat em.  You played 3 big dawgs from out that way last year and went 2-1 with total point diff of -1.  Solid. Not discounting Alcoa they are darn good for what it is but to think just because they smack 3A and prolly soon 4A around that they win every class is a joke.. Baylor, Mcallie, CPA are super talented, p4 kids everywhere, big etc last year. I see alot of teams every year and Alcoa has nothing the top 15 or so teams don't.  Ask big brother (Maryville) how easy Oakland has been to get past the last 5 years. D2 and certain large pubs are stacking more talent than ever. Yall should be familiar

The old rivalries from years ago are back in region play and definitely something to look forward to. Add in a young LC program and always talented Pearl it should be very fun. I think its reasonable to assume either Springfield or Pearl will represent this well in a champ game appearance before it shakes up again.

What does Greeneville have coming back?

Greeneville loses their RB Quillen, 2 starting OL, and Griffin at Receiver. (Return both tackles and a Guard, leading Wr Anderson and Claridy who played a ton at WR along with TE Smith depending on the set along with Baugh at QB. Quillen and starting Guard Iezzi are the biggest loses on that side.

D they lose a lot more up front and in the middle.  DT Iezzi and Humphrey along with DE Reyes. LB getting hit hard with the loss of Armbrister, Moore, and Nichols.  Losing Lollar at DB and McGill at safety.

Greeneville always has a good JV record and will fill in spots with the next man up.  This was Reyes first year starting at DE and you tell he was ready.  Played the best against Alcoa from that game (that was not just me thinking that but Alcoa fans I sat with too)

I’m going to go Ahead and say this. Please Screenshot this and keep it. ALCOA will do what they have done for the Past 10+ years. 100% that they Will Win State . Outside of a few teams in other Classifications, NO ONE and I Mean NO ONE can beat Alcoa. I sit here Right now and Say Everyone Else will be playing for the Silver Ball. Why am I the only Person who sees this? I said at the Start of the Season last year that No One in 3A could beat Alcoa and Damnit I was Right. Please again Screenshot this and keep it until the end of next Season.

Boy...you sure went out on a limb...
