THIS IS THE FIRST POLL OF THE SEASON. 

 

Now in its 32nd year, The Poll is primarily a measure of dual meet strength with some consideration to individual tournament strength.   Votes are cast by a state-wide panel of high school wrestling coaches and are based on a maximum Power Ranking of 132.

Maybe someone thought this was a baseball poll.

Q1 is 27.5
Q3 is 107
IQR is 107-27.5=79.5
Lower Bound outlier: 27.5-1.5*79.5=-97.75 so there is no lower outlier
Upper Bound outlier: 107+1.5*79.5=226.25 so there is no upper outlier

Just in case there are any Algebra kids getting ready for the semester exam. Q1-1.5(IQR) and Q3+1.5(IQR) are the 2 formulas you have to remember, and don't forget to put them in order before you find Q2, Q1 and Q3!  I almost made that mistake as 10 and 11 seem to be switched.  

The spread between 4-5 makes outliers pretty hard to have to have an outlier.
