So for those in know. Now that these unfortunate circumstances have taken place how does the administration move forward? Is there a plan to reopen a new hiring period  and take application all over again or will they just sort through the ones that applied the first time and narrow it down to a few to bring in?

I heard Henry Co. was looking at bringing back a coach that was on the staff a few years back. The last Westview Coach. Is there any truth to that?

Honestly can't blame them for not making football the priority, and there appears to be an argument that better academics lead to better football anyway.  

Per TN.Gov 19.0 was the state average for ‘23 grad class. All but one of those schools above that average.

So 4 classes per semester, 2 semesters per year means 8 classes. 8 a year is more than your 6

It doesn’t necessarily mean 8 classes. Some classes, especially your maths and English are full year classes. Meaning you have to take both semesters to get 1 credit.

No need taking it further than necessary...nobody said that it translated into more available credits, just that there were enough non-mandatory class periods to easily make it work.

 Some folks get caught up in the banter, and forget the point being made.

Those would be remedial classes. Your normal class is a semester long class.

Hearing now that the schedule thing was just a cover up. End of the day Covington called back and offered more money. Don’t know how much more but it apparently was enough. I know who else was in the running and one would be a solid choice and the other would be terrible.

Their ACT average is 17.8.   Doesn't bode well for a championship.

I’m judging by this that they are not going to reopen the job and take more applications. Probably a good move to get the next guy in rather quick
