She would undoubtedly be a huge addition. However I heard as recent as this evening she wasn’t going to play at all. But I hope that’s not true because she deserves to be able to play basketball in her senior year.

Looks like getting the ball down the floor against a pressure defense will be L.A.'s downfall. Can't win the big ones when you panic against pressure!

I know right now it doesn’t look like it, but stone memorial will be in the conversation come tournament time.  They will begetting a player eligible. That will make a difference.  She transferred from Cumberland County to Stone last year. She’s had to sit out all year because they did not move and her one year is up right before district tournament time.  She is a very good player for sure and she will help them. Don’t be surprised if they beat someone that on paper you wouldn’t think they would.

Agreed! IMO, said player was the best player for a talented CCHS last year. She will be a big time difference maker for sure.

It's that, I lost my job two days ago, my wife told me she's pregnant yesterday and today we get a letter from the IRS saying we are being audited, kind of pressure! 😳

Yep I would love to see South Side and Dyersburg be in opposite brackets assuming both get there. Would love to see Upperman and White County playing these two. Wouldn't that be great basketball?? Don't know who wins but it would be great to watch. I would pay $100.00 to watch it.

Those would be some very good games for sure. But just like last year, White County has the best team in AAA and just like last year, they beat Baxter on their home floor and that’s not easy to do. If White County doesn’t make it to the glass house this year then heads should roll. Way too much talent on this team not to. However, their window is closing.  Baxter has a team coming up that is not going to be touched in this area.  So hopefully Sparta can put it together and win a state championship this year!

Everybody will be back for sparta next year including selby cept for jones. Still will be very good!

Well they got to get there and win in the Region and sub-state. They are obviously good the way they handled Bearden. We played Bearden this summer. They are a good team. West TN is a gauntlet this year and whoever comes out of  here in AAA will be a handful. South Gibson is a different team this year. They are healthy and got the three players they lost last year, one 6 foot and they got three Freshman that can go. Two of them are really really good. They could get up there and win it all. I am telling you they will be a handful if they get out of their Region. Dyersburg, South Gibson and South Side are really good HS basketball teams.

Jones will be a big loss but White County is always good!  Even when Mushy was there! Haha. Would love to see WC vs Joe Pats squad for all the marbles!  Yert one time baby !!

Powers was a big loss, Reed was a big loss, Jones will be a loss but not as big as the past two seasons.  They finally have guards that can play at a high level.  Winningham for example has become a complete player on both ends of the court.  They will be good as long as they keep the guard play at a high level.   When they had dominant bigs they didn’t have guards.  In this district guard play is a must.  Upperman bringing most of their lineup back also so.
