Agreed. One of either 33/30 have to be on the floor. 33 is the MVP of this group without question. Her ability to create while being a three level scorer has only made everyone around her better. Team is as good as anyone from 1-5 and 6 has highschool game experience.

Zoey Nicolas has especially changed since last year putting on muscle and being able to post up.  It's impressive to watch a student make such strides when she was already a great player

Wayne County jumped out on them last year and Pickett came back. Somebody could get them but they have a good team. Picket will have  lots of confidence at the Glass House assuming there is no crazy upsets in that Region. We have seen some crazy things happen over the years in that District.

May be an unpopular take, but Pickett may be better with Reeder leaving. I know it hurts with small numbers, but they are playing much more like they want it seems without her not being able to run at the speed they go as much. Just my observation.

Absolutely agree. Her ability to recognize what she needed to do to take the next step in her athletic career is awesome. Kid is an absolute bucket.

They are going to have to face a Clarkrange or Clay in an elimination game in the Regional Tournament. Both of those teams are very capable of pulling an upset.

Clay can play with Pickett. I watched the game at Clay (and no, I'm not from Clay). Pickett is very good. But when tournament time comes, things do happen, especially, the Regional semi-final games. I would expect Pickett to win, but Pickett County hasn't had any real foul trouble yet. They are thin and I believe they will be tested for this reason during tournament time.

Great post! Totally agree with you. Clay vs Pickett is a rivalry. Throw out the records because they mean nothing when these two get together. So an upset can absolutely happen!
