This is 1 of the more pathetic & cowardly things I've seen in girls high school basketball. When they lose in the regional tournament, I hope everyone involved in Coffee Co remembers this right here. This could've been a game that prepares them for not just good teams, but some game adversity that every team needs. A loss isn't always a bad thing, but it seems JP's ego wants that undefeated season cemented so he can go brag on himself for years to come.

Beaty little extra rest and coffee has battled some injuries as well l!Weather issues and that's a good haul I can see both sides but at this point why risk it?

Well after watching the Tennessee men play I had to go back to the HS gym. South Gibson had a make up game with Obion County last night so we got in the gym and we played a half and there was a Tornado Warning and they made everyone that didn't want to leave get in the hall. Well I left. I thought well they will call the game. Well they didn't. Let the storm come through and played the rest of the girls and the boys game. Kudos to South Gibson for not letting the weather ruin the night.

If this game was say 2 weeks ago I could see playing it.  But at the end of the season with nothing to gain why risk getting a player hurt.

Believe this game was a re schedule anyways from a game called for chance of  snow !

I'm with you, why would either school want to risk a player getting hurt, the only thing either team would have gotten out of it is bragging rights. Don't understand all the big deals being made out of it. The only games you have to play is district anyway. Now Coach Greens has something else to talk about.  LOL

Then why play any more games than your district games?? The problem is they've screwed kids out of 1 less high school game (those games are so limited in life), the problem is it was a scheduled game & because of potential egos it's canceled, the problem is you're setting an example to kids it's ok to back out of your word if it benefits you. You wonder why kids have no problem leaving places and transferring if it appears "best for them", the examples set before them are terrible.
