Principal could also be lying signing off saying it is not for athletic reasons. Most of these players are not rich and may not be able to afford lawyers. Also may not want to go to the trouble of going to your primary doctor and at the mercy of your primary doctor referring them to mental health doctors when they know deep down they are breaking a law because there is nothing mentally wrong with them other than they want to go play for another team. And some of these players may have already told their current team all is good because of smoke about the transfer. A lot of these schools aren't stupid and when they try to get them to sign off they won't because the smoke was thick a while back when they were supposedly ok until summer rolled around. And coaches that are trying to influence these transfers better watch out because they could get in trouble as well. People talk around here.

Just let the kid transfer. If I am the kid's current coach I want him gone!!! If a kid is not all in the get all out. LOL

Coaches don't want to have to play against their star players. Look at what the NCAA is putting up with. Tennessee had to pay Rickey Gibson and Boo Carter when they threatened to leave. You think Heupel wanted to lose 2/5 of his secondary? HS coaches don't want to lose star players either. This is the society we live in.

Don't believe there will be any running clocks in that District. Whoever is runner up in the District Tournament likely to play South Side in the Region Semis. Will be interesting for sure.

Nobody in that district outside of Dyersburg is a threat to South Side and I am not sure how accurate that is now that Crawford is gone.

3A may be down next season across the state I will give you that but South Gibson better find some scoring if they want to win it.

South Gibson has bulk of their scoring playing point guard. Until they make an adjustment there, they will struggle. Unless they have some transfers coming in or a really good 8th grade class

South Gibson needs a guard or two, one to start I agree. Got to have another ball handler/shooter.

Based on what they bring back and based on the development of what has been there I think they will score the ball at a very high level next season. That rising sophomore class is legit.

If they score like your saying they will win it all. Their defense is going to hold whoever under 40. If I am South Gibson I full court press early and often. They are really good at it and it creates lots of transition buckets. They have to learn to score in the half court better. Most teams at the Glass House has trouble scoring consistently in the half court. It would be nice if they could get another PG to relieve Dunn from handling the ball so much. When your best guard has to bring the ball up the court 24/7 it makes it tough. When Gibson County got Akira Riding a couple of years ago it helped Micah Hart a lot and it opened stuff up for her. Allen is coming up from the 8th grade and if she hits the ground running it will help South Gibson a ton.

sounds like you know that team better than most. You are right, the PG needs some relief. The twins are both going to be a lot better this year and the girl that came off the bench some for them that wore #20 seems to have the potential to knock down some shots if she is working hard right now. I'm not familiar with Allen.

It is Hallie Allen's younger sister. I haven't seen her a whole lot myself but I hear she is really good. They had planned on playing Friend last year, who would have been a Freshman last year. She transferred to TCA and never played. Might have started last year at PG. I hear Allen is working hard getting ready.

OH!!!!!  She has the DNA for sure. Didn't know there was another Allen... Dang. Cade, Hallie and another one.  I'm sure she will be fine and absolutely that will help them.

Yep. DNA is there for sure. If they get a guard that is a ball handler and can score a little that will help them a ton. Defense is there. Got to find ways to score.

#20 struggles defensively or I think she would have played more last season

    • Read an article today where Anderson County got a Beerden transfer. Davy Boy Gillum is really selling his soul to try to get his daddy ball son a few wins.
    • They’ve got the old Big East conference back together. The only thing that conference was known for is beating up on the upper east TN directional schools then coming down to Knoxville and getting beat in the first or second round of the playoffs.
    • Poor Ray Co, they may never be relevant again after Power I Pemberton left. The Andy Kelly’s of the world ain’t going to Ray Co anymore.
    • Sad that backwards Campbell Soup County ran off the best coach in their history because this wife was black.  It’s ok to have a gigantic sex shop with places to have sex in the open, but they draw the line at whites marrying blacks.
