When Haywood won it in 15 we felt the same way about CPA but they knocked them off, just go beat Chattanooga prep an get rid of em,I think CPA switched classes after they lost

Southside put CPA out the year before in the semifinals on the way to winning the championship. CPA stayed in AA until the TSSAA forced them to division 2 in 2017-2018. But yes cpa had the same type of advantage that Chatt prep has. They can be beat but it will take a near perfect game from whoever does it.

Was that the year that CPA had an 8th grade starter at PG. That #1 PG in America somehow found his way all the way from Iowa I believe....hahaha.

No one pays a lot of attention to it, but the same problem is in soccer. 6 of the 8 teams in the last 3 years at state are charter schools… one of the teams parents were saying how they are from all over and they thought it was ok that they recruit… it’s bass ackwards yall…  charter needs to be private…

It's the end of the era for the Santa Fe Wildcats.  Their coach is retiring and their stars are graduating.  The 150 student school won 99 games in the last four years.  Auden Slaughter, with almost 3600 points, is the 3rd highest scorer in TN history.  Macon Adkison scored more than 1500 points.  This was a once in a lifetime accomplishment for such a small school.  This team was made up of boys from our town who grew up together in our tiny school. In the opening minutes of the game yesterday,  Auden was knocked to the floor, hit his head, and was hurt more than I believe people realize.  I wish everyone could've seen him at 100%.  Im not saying they'd win, i just wish he could've played his best.  I wish the cheaters could be better human beings and see what they are taking away from other kids who do it the right way with class.

I know this doesn't really mean much, but SF did it the right way. Don't get me started on CP, there are A LOT of things going on there and it makes one mad when it affects your team directly. One of the reasons Pickett Co made the State this year is because they didn't have to travel to Chatt Prep and play for the third straight year (lost two in a row to them) in the Sub-State . I know Auden Slaughter is good and has a great shot. Great run for SF. One of my motto's is win with class but maybe most importantly lose with class and based on your previous posts, SF seems to play with a lot of class. I believe SF is a fine class program. I wish you all the best.

+1….good year for the Wildcats, We used to play them every year at the Eagleville preseason camp, even made friends with a couple of them way back when. They were always respectful opponents back then too!

It’s great for these boys from a small school to grow up together and compete together. They will remember their run and talk about it for years to come. I was pulling for them. I think they had respect for the entire state. Hope they hold their heads high.

I however have zero respect for the TSSAA, the adults and administration for Chattanooga Prep and the rest of the schools (in any sport) that have a win at all cost system. Schools that do it the right way and show their students how to become honest adults. My eyes have been opened to all the shenanigans that is being allowed by these cheating adults that say they are “still following the rules”. Many programs that I grew up hating but respecting have lost my respect.
