How much worse can it get??Well we sure know!I hate to say it like this but I'm glad that Ole Clemmer showed his lack of social skills with one of our boys with witnesses OR we would still be in that mess.At least yours has some morales. It can get way worse even as bad as it is!

I’m sure it can always get worse and I certainly see that. But believe me when I say, Oneida is a WRECK, and I mean a big one. Not the place to be for the past few years now. Program is actually unbelievable. From the way it’s ran down to the playing of the game, it’s just mind boggling. Now one might think to say, “Shouldn’t we do things differently, especially if they’ve not worked for years!?” well yes, people have, people are tired, people are fed up, people are upset and disappointed. But unfortunately the people that do not fit that category are the ones in power to per say, change way things are ran. And yes I am also talking about the board at Oneida. As I’ve stated, in no way shape or form am I personally attacking anyone or trying to put individuals to shame, I’m simply stating the absolute undeniable, indisputable, pure truth facts. And no I’m not just talking about Coach Jimmy May either. The failures of this program go beyond just the HC, he just takes the brunt of it because he’s the head coach. People need to realize this is a bunch of smaller failures that have lead to much bigger ones by multiple people. All fixable, but they seem to never get fixed.

It’s a shame to see both greenback and Oneida falling to the bottom of the pile, it should have never been like this. I see Oneida dropping to 1A next count in about 4 years. with as much going on. I truly hope to see greenback come back to life. It’s just a shame fellas.

I’ll put it at this fellas, with what I’ve been informed from some guys that are around the program and my connections, Oneida Football is not a team that someone feels desired to play for. From my thoughts of it, Jimmy has partly been the reason many have decided to up and leave Oneida, or some to even choose not to play football anymore. I’d say the culture is bad down there at the moment, and not many things good to say about the program. We decided to give a Head Coach another year, that has proved to have losing seasons, seasons where we get no where. We lose games every year that there is no way in heck that we should lose. Is this because we haven’t grown a big enough pair to do something else? I get he’s respected by the staff, but ask some players, I don’t see much respect for him there. It becomes a problem when the players don’t buy in to the coach, and want to leave because they feel that’s the best option. The generation now days are different then they were back in my days, and haven’t changed for the better. It’s a big problem when no respect is shown for a coach after not listening to his players or honestly anybody to change things up. I say that because I know there is some players on this board as we’ve found out last year, and many of them are saying the same things we are fellas. I think this is a horrible atmosphere to be around at the moment, and I’m glad I got away when I did. It’s sad to see Oneida football turn into such a disaster. I reckon it’s bad when players want to go down the road and play for a coach that can’t win, knowing they will be treated better there then they were here. I’m not going to drop any names, although I’ve heard some, but I know already we’ve lost some key players, and it will hurt us. At what cost do we keep a coach? I see nothing changing and I see the same old same ole coming out of the Indians this year. It’s a total surprise to all of us, that no applications and interviews were held. I just know there would be some more than qualified guys lined up for this job, and I know a few in mind that want to coach here again, if you catch what I’m putting down. I’ll end with this, how much worse can it get?

They need to open up a coaching search and inject some new culture and blood into the program. I know a couple of very successful head coaches who would have interest in Oneida.

I do as well but they’re not looking for any. The board that is.
