It is Important to make a significant hire for the Lady Wildcats as they transition to a new district this year. Tryouts and summer workouts are just 12 days away. Gaddis should start with Caldwell, Azzi, Galloway, McGinnis, and Phillips on the shortlist of potential candidates that are alumni with head coaching experience.

Does Todd Wright get a look here? Still teaching at OR, has loads of experience in HS & college. I think they would have to consider him, correct?

I agree he should be in the mix. Coach Wright left OR last year, lives in Nashville area now.

Some rumors Ive heard;

Todd Wright set to become the new coach at Walker Valley HS.

Lenoir City coach Shelly Collier has applied at Oak Ridge, applied at Knox Catholic as well. Seems to be aggressively trying to get her way out of Lenoir City.

Heard Grace Christian Academy (Knoxville) coach has also applied at Oak Ridge as well as current south east TN coach.

Big splash hire coming to Chattanooga while another Chattanooga area coach trying to get out of their current situation as well. 

Chuckey Doak is looking for a new coach to replace their coach, who is also the AD, that just stepped down.

Thank you for the update. I have not heard anything from my usual sources. OR is keeping it pretty tight to the chest. Gaddis did meet with the team and said he was searching, if he couldn’t find a coach that could carry on the program’s winning tradition he would coach the team personally. 😂

UPDATE: Paige Taylor was just announced at the head JV girls and assistant Varsity coach for Grace Christian Academy (Knoxville).
