How many kids officially leaving bearden?

I understand that but some wasn't even going to a region where Bearden was an opponent .  TO say it was a TSSAA rule is crazy though .  Like I told someone, "the same crap they fed yall to get yall down there is the same crap they're feeding you to keep you there!"

I don’t think any of them wanted to go back/to AE. Hate to break that to you. Be glad Alcoa is gone though.

I'm just realizing- HTV is all about disparaging schools once his friends aren't there

And this whole "BHS really telling the players, they can't transfer to a KCS school or they would have to sit out?".  That's true for anyone anywhere without a change of address or "significant academic, social-emotional, environmental, or mental health need" .  That's just the rule.

Not sure why we're acting like there is some crazy conspiracy .

So, parents separating is not something that fits any of those categories?

Some of y'all are delusional.

I think you’re just in delusion because you thought all these players would want to go to the dumpster fire called Austin East… which btw none of them did.

Actually, only 1 of those players are zoned for AE and where do you see a dumpster fire?  Just continue hating at least we're not out here recruiting like all these other teams.  Its funny you're calling AE a dumpster fire but every team in this city recruits their players so i'm going to say this, "No school can win without AE players!"  BEEP BEEP!

As Coach Phillips would say, "We only take the players that wants to be a Roadrunner, the best of luck to the others!"  We good at AE, I just hate it for Fulton where majority of them were zoned for .  AE is good !  Alcoa is no longer on our schedule so we good and could possibly make a lot of noise within these next few years with our young group of Roadrunners, Don't Sleep on us!  Beep Beep!

Nashville does have better privates than Knoxville no doubt.

Any program tries to develop kids, but I would go as far as saying CPA doesn’t recruit. Maybe not “buy” as you termed it, but a private school by nature has to recruit.

Ya’ll are in a situation that most public schools are not in so as far as scheduling goes I don’t blame public’s for not trying to play you all either. Take it as a compliment.
However, let’s not go as far as to say you all are opposed to recruiting kids from anywhere. Sure y’all are able to be selective and have people approaching you instead of the alternative, but at the end of the day if I’m a fledgling program I’m not scheduling you guys for those reasons.

Buy is probably too harsh, but I couldn't tell you the last time I remember CPA getting a high profile transfer.

If your a 5A or 6A school that has legit aspirations of winning a title, you should be seeking out teams like Oakland, Alcoa, Maryville, Pearl-Cohn, Houston, Anderson County, Greeneville, Elizabethton, etc. The teams that consistently go 10-0 in the regular season only to get bumped in the playoffs early are usually the ones that could stand to upgrade their strength of schedule

Not gonna sit here and pretend Oakland doesn't benefit from some of the transfers they have gotten, but their Freshmen & MS teams haven't lost a game in 3 years. Building your program from the bottom up is how you make it last, even after coaches leave

Between y’all and Kingston as far as I can see for the region title

Those schools you mentioned should play each other. Would love to see some of those matchups. I know y’all and Maryville have had regular season games. AC has played Betsy & G’Ville and will now play Alcoa.
Would love for those to be televised so I can watch them

Facts, CPA is probably the only one of the Privates in Nashville that doesn’t scout, they only had one big time transfer in the past 3-4 years and it was the big time CB from Pearl Cohn

Agreed, the best playing the best is great for everyone. Oakland is playing Pearl-Cohn.

    • Read an article today where Anderson County got a Beerden transfer. Davy Boy Gillum is really selling his soul to try to get his daddy ball son a few wins.
    • They’ve got the old Big East conference back together. The only thing that conference was known for is beating up on the upper east TN directional schools then coming down to Knoxville and getting beat in the first or second round of the playoffs.
    • Poor Ray Co, they may never be relevant again after Power I Pemberton left. The Andy Kelly’s of the world ain’t going to Ray Co anymore.
    • Sad that backwards Campbell Soup County ran off the best coach in their history because this wife was black.  It’s ok to have a gigantic sex shop with places to have sex in the open, but they draw the line at whites marrying blacks.
