It's not my manifesto. It comes from my connections at Bearden. Plus you are going be on the side of Big Daddy Jones and his Tennessee Starts recruits/transfers every step of the way. Right now what the Bearden administration is doing makes sense. They are trying to make up for all the mistakes they made by hiring flim-Flam, snake oil, casino junkie Big Daddy, Tennessee Starts Jones.

Jones has more nicknames than Deion Sanders lol

I have met Josh Jones one time in my life, probably talked to him about 2 minutes.

I'm on the side of youngsters and their families having a choice of where and who they attend schools under.

Knox County would not tell a student who transferred from one school to another that they couldn't participate in band competitions or other extracurricular activities if they transferred because of a band teacher or other faculty member going from one school to another.  Sports are supposed to be extracurricular activities.  The hypocrisy is glaring.

The same administration that is at Bearden now hired Jones and he did exactly what they asked him to do and what they knew he was going to do.  Not allowing those kids to move on without strings they are pulling is pure hypocrisy.

I have no problem with Jones, I mean he did what Alcoa does but he couldn't be as sneaky as Alcoa.  The Bearden community couldn't get behind Jones because they thought old Johnny should be seeing the field more than old Bubba!  I just don't like the way this Administration/Coach has told all these players that if they wanted to play next year they had to leave Knox County Schools.  That don't sit well with me.  I don't care if none of them were going to AE.  I don't agree with them keeping them from playing in KCS.  Shoot what since does it make for a student to leave Bearden to go to Clinton(just an example i know it didnt' happened).

You are very wrong Turtle. No present Bearden Football coach has ever told a player that they can't transfer to a Knox County School or any other school. That is a rumor and a flat out lie. Now one or more of the old Bearden coaches might have said that to them. But any Coach in Knox County does not have the  power to determine or have the final say on where a student enrolled in school. That is for administration or parents to determine. If some coach is telling them this they are a liar. If someone coach or other wise is telling you this they are lying. A coach does not admit or not admit a student into Knoxville County Schools. Only administration can do this. Has a coach told them that if they transfer they might not be eligible. Maybe, maybe not. Coaches don't determine eligibility. TSSAA has the final say so on that. And as far as Johnny and Bubba is concerned, Bearden has won with only Bearden Johnnies before and they will do it in the future. There has been Bubbas transfer into Bearden since Bearden school has existed. They were welcomed back then and they will be welcomed now and in the future. Most of the bad rumors and rhetoric is probably being spewed buy the old regime, (that includes Coaches, handlers, recruiters, hang arounders, and want to bees) but the main propagandist is flim-Flam, snake oil, con man, casino junkie Big Daddy, Tennessee Future Stars Jones. He is trying to secure his so called reputation as the so called by some experts best coach ever at Bearden by still fighting against anyone trying to move Bearden Football forward with anyone that wants to be a part of it. You can't be the best coach Bearden ever had by trying to destroy it behind the scenes. Doing that is talking out of both sides of your mouth.

Well you know what you can believe what you want to. But no one is telling anyone they can't transfer to any school they want to and be a student. The Bearden administration is following the rules. The Jones Tennessee Future Stars followed Flim- flam, con man, snake oil, casino junkie Big Daddy Jones down the wrong path because Jones plays by his own rules

So if a player parent say to me, "Yea, Bearden is telling us if we go to any Knox County School we have to sit out a year!"  Then what am I supposed to think or say.  That's what was said to a recent transfer and if you look at all the transfers you will see ALL of them but 1 has went outside of Knox County Schools so that had to be said.

I think Bearden's best coach ever is/was , Coach Bill Young!   RIP COACH!

Do you believe everything everyone ever tells you. Do some research on who lets/or enroles a student into a school in Knox County. Every High School turns in an eligibility report. They send it to the TSSAA. TSSAA determines eligibility in the state of Tennessee, not coaches. Parent can find this information by asking people who are involved in eligibility. Administrators not coaches. Your assumptions don't add up in this situation.

Are you apart of the new coaching staff or something?  Trust me, I know the TSSAA Rules because when I first heard it I was like, "No way that is true and you all are dumb for believing that one.  The same nonsense they fed you all to get you to Bearden is the same nonsense they're feeding you to keep you there!"

To be honest, something of that magnitude had to be said if all but one of them went outside of Knox County fearing they'll miss their senior season.  So MAKE IT MAKE SENSE and don't say its on TSSAA.

Coach Young is still kicking as far as I know. Also coached for the Mighty Wildcats of OR for awhile. Coach Young is a great man.

No doubt Maryville got the best one of those kids that have left the Bearden program. Having Will Jones throwing to him will really help his stock amoung  recruiters.

Love Jones, but he had a pretty solid QB throwing to him already, one that has been offered by and committed to Kentucky, which the last I heard was still an SEC school.

Saying "the coaches" aren't telling kids they can't go anywhere else is a CYA move and pretty much laughable.

The kids who are being denied have by and large already left and their eligibility is being held up by Bearden administration.

    • Read an article today where Anderson County got a Beerden transfer. Davy Boy Gillum is really selling his soul to try to get his daddy ball son a few wins.
    • They’ve got the old Big East conference back together. The only thing that conference was known for is beating up on the upper east TN directional schools then coming down to Knoxville and getting beat in the first or second round of the playoffs.
    • Poor Ray Co, they may never be relevant again after Power I Pemberton left. The Andy Kelly’s of the world ain’t going to Ray Co anymore.
    • Sad that backwards Campbell Soup County ran off the best coach in their history because this wife was black.  It’s ok to have a gigantic sex shop with places to have sex in the open, but they draw the line at whites marrying blacks.
