What level of boys' high school team would UCONN women be able to defeat? How about the WNBA champs?

they beat every team in the state. The teams that have bigs will be able to score every time down on them but no way any team can guard them. They will just outscore every team.

  This argument has been basically proven already. Not just any 1A small school team maybe, but the state level 3A and up would beat most any college team, and there are several in state that would own the WNBA in a season...maybe not win every game, but be the best team. There's several small samples of this out there, and a standing bet (with no takers for two years) for one million dollars...WNBA vs. a high school team. WNBA team doesn't even risk losing the money, just their pride and the argument.

I would agree if we were talking about the teams from 10 years ago. But the teams in Tennessee today... I got UCONN Women... That is not an insult to the high school teams just a compliment to UCONN.  And WNBA vs high school teams in Tennessee would be no doubt, bet the whole pay check on the WNBA. There is a caveat... There are a couple privates and charters that may be a problem.

Men are just more athletic than women.  Different bone density, muscle mass, speed.  90% (if not all) of the boys teams that were in Murfreesboro for the state tournament beat UCONN girls.  

 

There are several examples of nobodies playing against top females (whether it be in basketball, tennis, soccer, swimming, etc..) and the best women can't compete against men due to size/strength/speed issues they face that can't be overcame.

Facts, any experienced women’s team could beat HS team, especially today, idk what these folks on but the top TN basketball program isn’t THAT GOOD, if we’re comparing to the rest of the teams in the nation

Lmfao you are not real, UConn or even SC would beat any team that went to the glass house this year, idk where u been ur most of these teams went to the boro and forgot how to shoot, that type of consistency is not to be found with an EXPERIENCED college team womens or men’s , now I see if we’re comparing Montverde, or Columbus to womens but cmon dawg, HILLSBORO? Upperman??? LMFAO, they’re not beating UConn

This is a joke.

 

UConn's women get beat by most of the teams from state.  Uconn may shoot better; but they are slower, weaker, less athletic than almost all of the boys teams that were in the boro.

 

Gonna be hard to make shots when the boys are quick enough to face guard, strong enough to not get bodied, and athletic enough to contest/block their shots.  Not to mention, the boys will be able to drive to the basket and score in the paint at will.

 

When have you ever seen a team win despite being shorter, weaker, slower, and less athletic?  Not very often.

I know it’s soccer, BUT….
the U.S. Women's National Team (USWNT) lost a scrimmage to the FC Dallas U-15 boys academy team in 2017, with the score being 5-2. The match was part of their preparation for friendly matches against Russia. While it was a scrimmage and not a formal game, the result was notable, especially considering the USWNT's reputation as one of the top teams in the world.
