Scotts Hill hosted Central HS from Bruceton-Hollow Rock tonight. Won 6-0, but Central is legit...pitcher has good velocity, defense has no holes, athletes all over, and pretty good bats. Looked like one of those nights for the Tigers where everything is hit straight at someone or just popped up enough for a defender to get under it. They may give 1A fits if they hit to the gaps.

Westview played the middle part of their season without McCall Sims who had emergency appendix surgery. She’s back now and had 19 strikeouts the other night against a team that beat them without her. They are rolling again with her back!

No idea how anyone with a pulse would rank them #12. It's going to take a monumental game (or two) from someone, or some unfortunate circumstances for Westview to keep them from winning the tournament. Simms is lights out on the rubber, and they know how to put runs on the board as well.

The defending champs Liberty Creek is who beat Westview last year and has the same pitcher and most returning starters back.  It should be a good first round matchup!

Softball is the one team sport where one dominant player (pitcher) can carry a team to a championship.  Sims is that kind of pitcher.

How can you submit team records and games to be looked at for the rankings? Also? What contributions plays into the rankings?
