Ok ok, yeah somebody has to take it.      This year it will be JC at #1.      Now that could mean Jefferson County or Johnson City.             More to come, stay tuned........

Need more context. 
what teams return the most starters. And what team has a big playmaker coming back. 
and obviously which teams are strong at QB. 
talk it up but most of us don’t know the regions returning stars and teams that lost a ton. 
 
Science Hill is building idk who all they lost but it’s this region vs Maryville 

It’s gonna be a fun battle of top 3 and again region 2 is STOUT

Science Hill was supposed to have some superstar transfer in from out west (western US).     All the chatter about that has died out now so who knows, maybe it didn't even happen.     I don't know many DB fans these days but they are not overly optimistic in Kingsport, feeling maybe 5-5, 6-4 at best.               Jefferson County always seems to be a bit of an unknown before the season begins.     West Ridge just doesn't seem to have the athletes to do a lot year in & year out.    Morristown East has been a bad team for a lot of years, can't imagine them turning it around.        So that leaves us with SH, DB & JC as the top 3.              The real question is how do those 3 stack up against region 2 6A?

Other than Maryville, I’d say those teams will stack up pretty good against region 2, especially with the dismantling of the Bearden team after Jones’ departure.

He's already there if you go to Lane Clement twitter page he posted clips of him with the toppers in spring practice and etsu gave him full access to their workout facility. Still the upcoming season is going to be different for region 1 you want to avoid the 4th seed to stay away from Maryville and then it becomes you want to avoid Oakland when it crosses over for the 2nd round and beyond

We have a new team in Region 2 next year. Not sure if you've heard of them. 

They are out of the Secret City and go by the name Oak Ridge.

One thing is for sure, If Clement is any good Carter will put all his eggs in his basket.

I think DB put Gate City and Claiborne on their schedule for a reason. Still, I see 4 "for sure" wins, 3 "maybes", and 3 "for sure" loses. This is a very weak schedule.  Maryville will be the usual "40 points better" than anybody up here.

I had a convo with Debusk and he mentioned that it was either “travel to Stewart’s creek or play Claiborne at home.” And a trip to Nashville didn’t seem appealing. That tells me everything I need to know about db football. They don’t care about it at all

How Science Hill isn’t dominate in every sport is beyond me. Perfect demographics, top notch facilities, booster support.
