Why are Fairview players talking so much trash on this message board? Everyone should walk onto the field with confidence, but let's wait until you've made the District 8 Finals for the first time before you start talking about flattening people and staying out of your way. I mean come on, let's be reasonable.

The Columbia hurricanes are div11.... yes they are made up of Columbia Central and CA players. Not a bad mix since CA went to the state finals last year and Columbia Central went to the final four AAA this year. yes i agree a team should be confident but should also be realistic. Dont set goals that you cannot possibly achieve. Columbia Central set a goal this year just to go to regions and then see what happens from there. Well if you've been following the state tourney you will know that not only did columbia Central make it through regionals but sectionals and all the way to the state semi finals only to lose to Bearden. All because they set realistic goals to start the season. One game away from the state championship game. Fairview should concentrate on getting out of districts and then take it from there.

    • HVA is a dump and will never be good at football. It's a baseball school. Look at the types of homes being built and families moving in. Not football families. People will move in and look at the school and choose to play for another program. This issue has been snow balling for a decade now
    • Also no shot at an indoor facility it took ya'll almost a decade just to turf blankenship
    • You will not be able to replace Dozier he was a stud and wasted for years. Heyward started strong and then fell of but he will be missed still Rembert could fly and was also underused. Not being replaced. Track has started to close the gap with football. It does not help that the current AD is just stealing money(collecting his check) while the assistant AD is a XC/Track guy who always hated football. Current AD is too worried about not hurting anyone's feelings to do anything at all. Heck he is gotta be 70 plus and looks like a fool wearing kid shoes
    • Will Trez remain 2A after the influx of another 2A school?
    • As I said somewhere earlier in the thread, the original plans had no outdoor athletic facilities being part of the campus.  The original plan was for HVA to use facilities at nearby schools.  Very late in the process they came up with a plan and found budget to have minimal facilities and crammed them in to space that never was intended for athletic facilities.
