New coach at RBS

Who is the new head football coach at Red Boiling Springs? I heard they made an announcement today.

I feel sorry for anybody that goes there. That program has to be one of the worst of all time. Didn't they lose 50 games in a row during the early 90's. That must be a school that simply has no talent at all. I feel bad for any coach that has to go there.

I don't feel sorry for any coach that chooses to go there...I say congratulations for having the courage to face a challange and for knowing that the kids come first...it's not always about the win-loss column...

Coach Boles will do an excellent job with this team. The community will rally behind Tony. He is a RBS graduate. He has great people skills and I think he will get more of the athletes to come out for the team. He is very personable. Let me further say that I am not downing Coach Cadle, I am simply saying giving Tony the respect he deserves.

Queenie I would give you a good mark for that but as you can see I don't have that many good uns to spare. A class response from a classy person.

It doesn't cost you a good mark to vote one for another person. It only cost you if you want to "take one away" from someone.

Bulldog23... you and I know just how many problems coach Boles will have as he tries to rebuild this proud program. Coach Cadle and his wife are suing the school board and director of schools, the program is way in debt, and the parents are upset with the administration. Coach Boles may have been the only pick they could have made that would have brought together the parents and had the full support of the community. I sincerely hope that he will be able to raise the money to get them out of debt and get the numbers up for them to be a viable program. It will be a long hard road ahead. Again, I wish him a lot of success!

As I posted on another RBS thread, I am glad they have found a coach from within the ranks. He should be familiar with whatever problems there are, and have a beter chance to solve them. Appears to have community support as well. which will go a long way in this case from what I hear.

From a former competitor(Trousdale Co.), best wishes to Coach Boles and especially the kids. Like to see you guys in the playoffs this year.
