"Turner Field" at Walker Valley

Congratulations to Coach Turner at Walker Valley. The field has been named after him in honor of his 28yrs. of coaching at Charleston and now at WV. It is because of his dedication and persistence that we now have the complex we have. THANKS Coach Turner!!

Coach Turner does a great job, he has built a great program, if you can't respect this man for what he has done to raise the bar for baseball from little league through high school from Copper Basin to Chattanooga then you probably can't repect anyone for anything.

 

When we had to play at Charleston I knew as well as he knew that we were in trouble.

 

Think about it - for the last 20 something years there has been one constant - Coach Turner, Charleston Panthers (Walker Valley) and winning championships - this guy never rebuilds he just seems to reload.

 

To play against him is to hate him.

To play for him is a priviledge

But in the end - they both always RESPECT him.

 

Thank you Coach Turner not only creating a the greatest baseball program in southeast Tennessee but for making every program that plays against you better by allowing them to see how it should be done.
