I'm with Pulaski on this one Gomab. How can your top Sophs in the entire state be picked for the third team of west TN only? True they may have upside, but everybody wants to know "What have they done lately?"

WesCharge, I completely agree. I love the 3 USJ players on the HM list... that sort of leaves little question as to who was voting them 1st in the state polls this year.

 

I mean, come on... you want to tell me that the team who finished 4th in the district had as many all-area players at the 1st and 2nd place teams, and two more than the 3rd place team?

i didnt even see courtney jones from dyer county on the list and they won the reg season district and were ranked in the top 2 or 3 in the state all year but yet only had 2 players named.

Yeah, Jackson is garbage. I member how much influence they had on the AP All State teams 2 years ago. They got 2 no name dudes on the 2nd team all state.

The Jackson Sun has really put out some terrible rankings lately.This one is pretty bad.They used to be a pretty good source of information,but here recently it's been down right pitiful.

From what I have been told, the all west teams were voted on by the coaches. There several good boys in the west tn area and someone always goes unoticed when you start handing out individual awards. I think they should be done away with.
