Gomab,

The Breakers are going to the Charlie Weber Invitational in Washington DC this coming weekend. Great opportunity for some exposure, the only Division 1 sanctioned tournament on the east coast. Hopefully we will see you guys in the State Tournament. It appears that you guys have already taken care of business and now we need to do the same. Good luck to you and your teams! Side note: We have been offered a number 1 seed at the Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis in July. Hard work pays off- and I know you guys work hard.

See you soon!

Congratulations Breakers!!!

Good luck this weekend! I look forward to the opportunity to play your squad next weekend.. Hopefully we will cross paths in finals.. :D

Also the TN Thunder 17/under received a #1 seed in the Hoosier Shoot. Which is looking to be one of the best tourneys of the summer. I just read on their web site:

Due to an overwhelming number of entries in the Junior and Senior-To-Be Divisions, and an unbelievable amount of calls from college coaches, we must cancel the Freshmen-To-Be Division. All freshmen teams entered will receive a full refund immediately. It has always been our goal to provide the highest quality basketball tournament in the country. To do so, we must stay loyal to our older age groups during the NCAA Open Evaluation Period for college coaches. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this change in the tournament. With Honor & Pride, Mike Bauer - Tournament Director.

It is looking to be the big aau substate weekend.. With 3 14/under, 3 16/under, 1 13/under, and 1 17/under tournaments going on across the state.

Again I want to say goodluck to all the teams playing this weekend!!!

TN Soldiers players

Starters: Mason FLoyd(6'1 pg); Bubba Nichols(6'1 2gd); Trey Carter(6'2 sf); Luke Curfman (6'3 bf); Ramon Foster(6'7 c)

Others Players: DeMarris Manns (6'1 sf); Ryan (5'11 pg); Martez White(5'10 pg); Micheal Jenkin (6'0 pg); Dustin Culberson(6'6 bf),Darryl Culberson(6'5 c); Jeff Sparkman(6'8 c)

This team is deep this year. I can play all 12 guys and lose a lot of talent. We have not played or practiced a lot. We did play the Columbia Bullets and a top team in Alabama and beat them both by over 20. If we can jell as a team we should be alright. We do have a tough draw in the Memphis Bulldogs 17's and if we get out of our pool, we would play the TN Thunder or the Nets, so as you can see we have our work cut out for us.

Gomab, If we get out of the Sub- State, we would love to play in your tournament coming up. thanks
