16/u And 17/u State Tournments

Does anybody know the set up for any of these age groups at the state tournment. If anybody could post the tournment schedule it would be greatly appreciated.

Obviously Memphis Y are the favorites to win the 17u state tournament..but after that I have Midstate Ballerz, TN Breakers, and Memphis Y's 15u team.

 

For 16u, I think Ballerz will win that and not real sure who else will be in the running other than a memphis team. I would imagine that it'll be the Ballerz vs Memphis Y in the state championship then the Bulldogs and Nashville Royals.

TnBball...U do know the Y 15's beat the Y 17's...the Y 17's are ranked number 2 in the country and the 15's beat them...and their 16's.

What does anyone think about the Thunder 16's. They won their substate and came in 2nd at the 17's substate? Has anyone heard anything about them?

How good are the TN Thunder 16's this year? Who are their best players?

I saw the Tennessee Thunder play this weekend, they are a very talented team. Their guard play will keep them in almost any game. If they had one more big man than they would be the team to beat in the state tournment.

 

They are lead by Albert Harris, Landon Thomas from Oak Ridge, and Travis Sikes. These are just a couple of the leaders. They also have Trey Tindell, Asberry, Jonathan Jones, Elliot Bishop and two more kids that are their big men. I just don't know their names.

 

They are a team that you should watch out for in the tournament.

What are the dates and venue for play in 17U?

The date for the 17U is May 30 thru June 1st. I'm not sure where in Memphis it will be.

The place will be at Bishop Byrne High School off of I-55 near the Mississippi/Tennessee boarder. Good Luck to TN Breakers & TN Thunder. Hope to see you in Orlando for the Nationals!!!!
