Crappie is a breed of fish just like bass or anything else. Crappie fishing can be very exciting actually. Especially if you are catching a lot of good eating size fish. Not a lot of people do as much Crappie fishing anymore because not every lake is known for crappie and most are known for bass.

Crappie is a soft mouthed fish, never jerk the line real hard. I think the spawning season is nearly over. When on the spawning beds, the fishing is best in 12 to 15 ft. of water around underwater obstructions. Things like stumps, old christmas trees, etc. that would protect the eggs. When the fishing is good they will come up to three or our feet below the surface after a minnow. You can the use a bobber to control your depth or the more experienced crappie fisherman will drop the minnow in their face, a foot or so of the bottom. :D Remember, it's a soft mouth fish. <_< I do have a plastic worm spinner bait in my tackle box, that has only caught crappie, but I was going after other fish. <_<

      Yeah, I don’t see that AC situation ending well. Let’s be real, AC is a super redneck school, always has been. Inner city boys and rednecks just don’t generally mix well, if you get my drift. Before it’s all said and done, there will be drama. As I’ve said before, people will sell their souls to win football games. It’s crazy.

      Hard to believe that it’s two kids from The McCallie School, and one each from Dobyns Bennett and The Baylor School.  I really thought a couple of other kids would have made the podium this year.

      I have said it many times before, Coach Phillips stated awhile back; "We coach players that want to be ROADRUNNERS!"  Even if they takes their lumps and bruises and its been bruises the last couple of years, they're still not going to recruit players.  If they stay, LETS GO!  If they leave, SEE YA LATER!  IT's HARD BEING A ROADRUNNER!     Fulton was tough back in the days when they won 3 titles, no argument there.   AC-  I think they beat Alcoa this year , Alcoa isn't all that and they will take their bumps and bruises this year. They won't cake walk 4A and I agree those parents will turn on the coach because they're playing outside kids
