Knox Central Basketball Coach

After going back and looking at the dates on Redrage posts' he must be in the school system In Knox co. Has not posted since June 3rd. School is out and he is home. What difference does it make if a golf coach was hired over a FORMER COLLEGIATE GOLFER. I would be willing to bet there are a good number of excellent coaches in all sports that DIDN'T play college athletics. In fact one that comes to mind is Gary Rankin at Riverdale - only played 1 or 2 years at UT.

I would bet the principal at Central had to give the OK for the AD to hire the person. By the way, wouldn't a teaching assignment be a necessary element in the hiring process?

Msgov, I heard Majors is an asst. at Fulton. I guess Rage ran out of air.

I think coach Majors (who is the Fulton JV coach) would have been an excellent coach. However, from what I have seen and heard I feel confident we got the right guy. I guess the only way we'll know for sure is if enough time passes.
