Flasing Advertisements

I was just wondering if there was some way to turn off the annoying flashing advertisement. You know the one. The one that says "You have a message waiting" or "Warning!" and others like that. I am not talking about the slow flashing advertisements that really advertise something, I am talking about the rapid flashing ones where it drives you nuts! Is there anything that can be done about that? <_

I think I got them all. It takes a while for it to refresh itself, so they may still show for another hour or so.

Thank you Oz. I wasn't trying to get rid of the legit ads, just those annoying "Error" or "You've got a message" type ads that flash rapidly or make you think there is something wrong and we must see what's the problem. thank you for acting on that!.

It takes awhile for ads to be removed from the ad rotation. They should be gone now so if you see any more then let us know what type.

I went to Kazaa and downloaded a program called PopUp Killer...it pretty much stops any pop up ads on your computer, but then again you have to remember it is there when you are trying to open something that requires a new browser being opened.

You will also need to check for Private Messages since, if you are using a pop-up killer, the PMS will not pop-up, either.
