What do the K's from Lipscomb mean?

The Lady Gibbs Eagles finally figured what all those K's stood for on the fence at the State Tournament. It stands for Knoxville, Knoxville, Knoxville, Knoxville. Go Gibbs Eagles!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to Gibbs on their win today. You got the run across that you needed. The Lipscomb ladies needn't be ashamed or make excuses. You played great and we are very proud of you.

If I have the information from the statistician correct, Megan finished with 559 strikeouts - 69 in four games at state. Great job!

What year is Megan? She is awesome...I saw those 18 strikeouts...she can really bring the heat. Tough luck for Lipscomb in that game - I'm sure you all will be back next year.

Yes, the strikeouts (Ks) for the 2003 season are 559 with 69 in the state tournament. The 69 Ks in this year's tournament (4 games) will surpass Sarah Meek's 65 Ks from last year (5 games) for the state record. Megan Rhodes now has 1,305 strikeouts for her career.

 

Congratulations to all the Lady Mustangs on a great 2003 season. We will miss our 2003 Seniors, JenniA and Gumbo, good luck!!! Megan and three other Lady Mustangs (Murda, RD, and K-dub) will return next year for the Senior Class!!!
