Here is how the starting Lineup looked on the first day of practice for Tennessee

The first team offense began with Munoz at left tackle, Jason Respert at left guard, Wells at center, Chavis Smith at right guard and Sean Young at right tackle. Victor McClure was at tight end and Jones and Brown were the receivers. Clausen at quarterback, Cedric Houston at tailback and Troy Fleming at fullback.

On the defensive line, it was Constantin Ritzmann and Karlton Neal on the ends and Mondre Dickerson and Greg Jones inside.

Kevin Simon, Robert Peace and Burnett were at linebacker, with Baker and Wilson at safety. Greer and Jason Allen were the corners.

Cornerback Antwan Stewart, a starter exiting spring practice, did not work with the first team. Fulmer said it was not a disciplinary move: "He's in a competitive situation.''

First day no picnic

Stewart will probably work himself in to the starting line up.

How do you see CBHS prospect David Ligon fitting in to things? Did he get redshirted last year? They told him before the Florida game to be ready, he would definitely get some snaps, as a true freshman.

UT has really benefited from some of the Memphis players...Cedrick Wilson comes to mind as well as Mondre Dickerson and the LB Poe. Others like LaRon Harris would have made name for themselves.

David Ligon was Redshirted last year and I think he is listed as the 3rd DE on the left side behind Neal & JT Mapu but he should se plenty of action the way Tennessee likes to rotate lineman in & out!
