Dyer County @ JCS

Any predictions? I heard that Dyer County was a prett young team, but pretty athletic.

JCS should roll in this one, but you never can tell what might happen.

They actually have a decent passing game. I understand JCS's secondary is kinda weak, so Dyer might exploit that. Their O-line is somewhat weak, though, and Ozment struggled under pressure when I saw him.

 

Their main RB is Andre Flowers. Good athleticism, but not overly fast yet. He'll be something special eventually.

JCS wins big unless they are thinking about USJ next week and not Dyer County.

I agree with dhbb. JCS by as much as they want, if they're not looking ahead.

 

If they're looking ahead, they only win by two touchdowns.

I Think JCS secondary has come along way...no one has had much pass success against them since a scrimage with McKenzie before the season began...like all secondarys they have given up some passes, but not consistently...TCA was held scoreless and they pass fairly well...Bishop Byrne was kept in check thru the air...the next big test will be USJ next week...I think JCS will beat Dyer Co. if they come to play...High School sports can be unpredictable if they don't...one footnote...JCS was out of school today for a parent teacher conference...I always hate when players have the day off...they tend to get more distracted...

They had alot of passing yards but they where screens and quick hits to a kid named Hamilton...he was pure speed...the passes where ususally at or behind the line with him then using his speed to get good gains...but they where not successful at throwing the ball down the field on us...

OK. I had heard they had quite a few passing yards, but I didn't know that's how they got 'em. Did Carpenter play in that game? He's out for the year now, isn't it?
