i took my previous post off because it was very immature, here is what i meant to say

 

 

i am from rhea co. and was at the game, i'm honestly sorry about the kid that got hurt and hope he turns out ok. the post game events were in fact very disappointing.

Thanks for hoping our player is ok. As for your other post if you saw a Cleveland player do something on the last drive i agree that's totally uncalled for. I didn't see it but I think some of the blame has to go to the refs as they lost total control of this game.

i agree, although i think the fact that the scoreboard was out contributed to it a lot, the fact that we though we would have another play after the incompletion to cooper...and then to have them put the ball down like there was time left, then change their minds...that just fanned the flames and from there all heck broke loose. there is no place in sports for what took place after the game, period.

The Cleveland Rhea County game tonight was a close game on the field. Their was hard licks going on all night. There was trash talking going on from both sides of the ball tonight. Both teams played hard and went down to the last play of the game. The events that happened after the game will give both schools black eyes. The officials from both schools were getting togther after the teams had left the school. Cleveland High School had a police escort all the way to the river. I hope cooler heads will prevail and both teams go far in the playoffs.

If they could actually get banned from the playoffs, that'd be something out of this world. I believe there are many teams who play their hearts out, and then keep their cool after the game that would love to take their spots. As for them getting removed from the playoffs though, in the words of U2, Dream On.

Rashawn Johnson was the player taken to the hospital. I heard it might be a rib injury but we'll have to wait and see.

From what I can tell thy big news is what happened after the game. I dont know what happened either. I do know I passed the clevland busses coming back from Soddy Daisy. There was a police car in front and one behind. I am curious as well
