Well its like early football....there was never a clear champion. If you look back in the 50's football, college, never had a clear winner. In fact, Kentucky won National Title in the 1950's but they didn't get credit for it until this past year. In cheerleading you can claim you win the title depending on what competition you go to.

I don't really have the time to read EVERYTHING you two have written, BUT, I did skim over it quickly. I think both of you argued your points very well, and in some ways I think you are both correct. At least you two think before you post unlike some of these people on other boards. So keep up the good work!

Also, I know Flipn4OHS. And I've seen Alabama cheerleaders in person. As far as talent, skill, attitude, personality, and looks, she should have no trouble at Alabama. In response to a few things she said: I think it's sad that things can sometimes be so materialistic. But like MAryville said, don't hold up what you want to do or be because of some stupid standards. You seem like you want it pretty bad, so my advice is to give it all you've got! Good luck!

    • Players and parents and coaches and administrators love uncertainty and vagueness. Hard to believe they could make the situation worse, but it seems they managed to do exactly that. So as you said we either have a one time transfer (wink, wink) or there's about to be a ton of teed off players and parents and coaches and administrators.
    • Quite a bit of Porter was involved with this post. Will be following for the big champion announcements.
    • They are going to have to learn to score to win it. They may well do it but there problem has been scoring consistently. Glass House causes that to happen to most teams.
    • We will see. I can't ever remember a year when it was this wide open. I am always a Gibson County homer but I love the makeup of our team this year. Got four guards and 3 of them have been point guards. We will play fast and aggressive on both ends and if we handle the ball like I think we will we will be very competitive to the buzzer sounds. Got two really good post players. There is no dominant team. Huntingdon will be a handful and a team I wouldn't want to have to play in a do or die game. Loretto is going to be balanced as well. York, Westview, Gatlinburg Pittman, Union City, Summertown, Smith County will be in the mix. Memphis Business Academy might the the best team in the state talent wise. Decatur County, JCM, Liberty and Adamsville's District will be tough as well. Very balanced AA and I may have missed some but it is wide open.
