With two huge wins at home against AAA powers, I'm wondering if Seymour may be the toughest place to win right now? Those of you who went to this game, or the Sevier Co. game at Seymour, give me your opinions of why this place is so tough to win at.

Do you think it might be the 6'4" kid in the post????? Maybe it is the 5'4" kid on the wing!!!! I am not sure which one but it is definately one of those two players. Call me kookie but that's just my opinion.

I agree. It is not the place they are playing in. It is the girls that are playing. People in the past have questioned certain players from Seymour's heart. Well, I think they have answered those questions.

Seymour is a tuff place to win... with their fans all around and everyone cheering for Brooke, it is a very intimidating situation to be in. i feel for the Heritage girls, they won the first half, and Seymour won the second. in the end Seymour proved they can play with the best of the best, no matter who it is.

 

kudos to both cait and brooke for a game well-played.

No Kookie, I think the place has something to do with it also. The 6'4" post and 5'4" wing both played at Heritage when they got beat by 17. I also think it will be interesting what happens later this month when Seymour goes to Sevier Co. for a rematch. I have not been to Seymour for a girls game, and just wondered from those that had what it was like.

I saw in the paper where one of the Seymour girls got a shoulder injury a few games ago. which girl was it and how is she?

I have been to a few games at Seymour and can tell you without a doubt it is not the environment but the players that made the difference. Seymour is a player friendly gym... plenty of space, not to loud, etc. Seymour at Heritage more than likely was mental. Confidence breeds success and success breeds confidence. Congradulations to the Lady Eagles for making a huge step... continue to dream and work to achieve.

The girl injured was Lauren Kesterson, a senior wing player who has started for the Lady Eagles all year. She will probably be out 3 weeks with the injury. Everybody is hoping she will be back in time for the tournaments. We need her 3's!!!
