Welcome to the first Rockwood baseball thread of the year. Hopefully we won't have about 6 locked up this year, lol. Getting serious now, I am obviously biased, so what does everybody else think about the Tigers and how their season will turn out this year.

 

The Tigers lost one player from last year's squad (team leader in BA- LHP/1B, he hit right handed, though), although, we picked up a similar player who did not play last year (LHP/1B/DH, probably will not have team leading average but should good power numbers).

Pitching and defense should keep Rockwood in every game, but we will only go as far as our hitting takes us. Freshman class has about 5 who will eventually be solid contributers, but none of whom will see much if any playing time this year.

 

What's everybody else's opinion about Rockwood???

Robert is recovering nicely from some back surgery and should be back in pitching form by the beginning of the season. Michael is coming along and should see some varsity playing time this season.

I didn't realize Robert had needed surgery. Best wishes for a complete recovery.

I'm at 3rd, and may be at SS when Trae pitches. Well our stating nine as of right now is 8 deep but the 8 we have are all really solid. we will be better than we were last year. CAK will be as good as well. No one else is even that competitive in our district.
