Bearden is extremely strong again this year and should be in the hunt for the state championship .  Look for the KIL and Region to fall to them again.  We got a lot of guys returning and some young guns coming up.

Hey BHSfootball, do you know how many guys, besides Beeson who graduated, Bearden is loosing off of their state runner-up 4X8 team? Do you think they can bust 8:00 again? Also, they better have a lot of new strong guys this year if there gonna give Melrose a scare because they lost Tyler Kohlbusch who scored like half of their points last year. 4X4 and 4X8 will be weaker without Beeson too.

He still won jackass...and to illustate my point here is the hottest chick Baylor has...undeniably the track winners this year.

What the heck is your problem, son. I never said he didn't win, I just had to disprove your BS claim cause it was completely ridiculous. Bingham is really good, but not that good.

And if that is the best looking girl in your school, I feel sorry for you (no offense to that girl).

Conney is a freshmen. I am talking Division II. McCallie will not even be challenged by pathetic foes.

Brentwood Academy is by far the best team in DII. They will repeat. They are arguably the best all-around team in any division or class. If you doubt, just take a look at the marks from last year's state meet, and see who they lost (pretty much nobody).

Bearden is by far the strongest team in East Tn. Although I do think they had a few let downs in Memphis. They finished 2nd in the state which is not easy. They were extremely strong last year. I really thought they would win it. The upper class members must finish strong. They did not last year. This year my pick is Bearden winning the boys KIL, and 1st at State. They are really strong. Hopefully this year the seniors will come through.

I speak the Truth--Carter does not even run against William Blount. Although I would expect Carter to win all the sprints, and most relays, track is about points, and last year William Blount earned about as many points as a team could earn in a track meet. Most teams will make 120 to 150 points and win a track meet. Last year William Blount was some times getting 200 points. William blount is a much bigger school though. Carter did do well in the State Championships, while William Blount did not take anyone. I'm not sure why, but did not. Good luck to both teams.

    • Ah, more Coach Ham bashing. There seems to be a club, so tell us, are you the VP, Chairman?  From the stories I've heard from his past players themselves Coach Ham is one of a kind and has literally worked himself to the bone year after year at every coaching stop. His legacy isn't Ws and Ls.  So give it a rest. It may be old school cliché, but could you even walk a mile in his shoes? The man has retired from coaching, let him be. Even on these measily message boards.
    • Evans-Collins got a lot of play over the years.  Several junior high teams and the youth leagues played there in my day.
    • Nick Boykin of Riverdale Hs and Sunkist Kids WC will wrestle in the Olympic Trials finals tomorrow against Joe Rau. Winner goes to Tokyo!
    • Yeah, I’ve seen it cause issues too. I read in a newspaper that he was just going to teach, so I assumed it was at CRHS. Maybe I misunderstood. Are there any guys on his staff ready to take it over?
    • Sounds like the same group that designed West, South, East and Fulton. They all used the old Knoxville High Field along with Rule. Talk about a field that got over used.
