Is Jamont Gordon overrated?

That was funny Big Poppa! I almost fell outta my chair. He probably needs those markers that erase if they're not used on the right surface.

Jamont is a great tallent. I think he is borderline out of control and very close to being uncoachable. I have seen him play extremely well. Thursday night was not a typical performance for Jamont. He probably got caught up in the atmosphere. I also don't think he was put in a position to be successful. I hope he does go to Oak Hill where he can get clear of his environment and find some proper guidance.

Saying that Jamont needs coloring books and crayons was a very jerk comment, why coment on his intelligence. Someone please find me a player that could have a terrible game and get 18 pts, 15 rebs, and 5 assist. That was probably the twins best game and their stats still cant compare. The twins played against terrible defense, which helped them do what they did.

Question of the week (Since you guys are bashing him so much):

Do yall think if just one of the twins was on Glencliffs team instead of Jamont that they would've made it to the state? I know my answer heck naw.

Good job Glencliff on making it to the State Tourney. I really didn't expect it.

I call 'em like I see 'em cdm2003, sorry to hurt your feelings, I will buy a box of tissues for you tomorrow at the market.

Unfortunately cdm2003, as it currently stands academics are somewhat part of the collegiant experience for most college students -and even most college athletes. I do not question Jamont's game just his academic viability.

Jamont is one heck of a player don't get me wrong, but I don't know how he will pan out with the academics. I hope Oak Hill and the college of his choice has crayons and coloring books. Maybe Jim Harrick, Jr. will recruit him heavily.

:justwrestle:  Wooo, that was the funniest thing that I've read on this site. That tops the thing that someone said about the head of TSSAA and his wife. I can see him in one of those little colored plastic chairs that Kindergarteners sit in, with apple juice in one of those spill-proof cups. Keep it up...:lol: Go JNS Indians....

    • He may have possibly said that to get the best out of him. Back when I was in school word got out I was going to transfer and Coach Story popped off and ask Coach Wilson in front of the team if Maryville was going to get a jock strap in return on this trade. That got back to me and I got fired up and stayed just to show them up. Now today Coach Story is one of my best friends.
    • Dylan's Dad, I'm glad you replied. I wanted to reply but wasnt willing to take the bait. There were 20 wrestlers on the team. I may be mistaken and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe 5 of the 20 attend McCallie right now and one will next year. At most, there are/were 6 kids on that team who attend McC. That leaves 14 other team members who have ZERO affiliation with McC (outside of maybe some friends) who represented our state to the best of their ability and wrestled their butts off that weekend. That weekend was a first for Tennessee and obviously a small step in the right direction for us as a state. Congratulations TEAM TN BLACK!
