he did well b/c defenses don't know how to guard him. look at his stats when cpa played him, he isn't a great reciever because he doesn't try at all when he gets frustrated. a good reciever doesn't quit when he gets frustrated.

Jeremy Gettis is the best. Take a look at the stats when both these teams played ezell-harding. He shut down both of these receivers. He also led the state in receiving with 79 catches for 1517 yards and 26 touchdowns. He also was one of the two receivers in the state of tennessee to receive the all-state award. Now if he isnt the best then i dont know who is.

You put up big numbers when you are in a pass happy offense. When determining who the best reciever is you can't neccessarily use stats because offenses are different, but raw talent would have to go to Turner.

Pat is a great receiver. He will be a lot better than i was my senior year because he works too hard not to be. He is in the weight room almost everyday and is very committed to his sport. He will eventually end up playing with a great football program in college and contribute a lot. This is a guy who will eventually end up playing on Sundays if he keeps the same work ethic and stays healthy. He may not put up amazing numbers next year because of the quarterback situation but he will be great. Good luck Pat.

Jgettis18ezell, you do not have to get on here and blow your own horn like that. Everybody that truly knows high school football in this area knows you can play. However, getting on here saying you are the best and listing your stats is ego-driven and ridiculous. Patrick will be more valuable to the big schools for his great size and speed. You can't teach him to be 6'5". I think you both have great hands. He just picked better parents for his genetics. Good luck to you.

Patrick Turner is definately a great talent but he is not the best receiver in the region in my opinion. Austin Rogers from DL is better. Austin is as fast if not faster than Turner. Anyone agree?

u r crazy i played against them both and Austin Rogers has nothing on Patrick Turner. Turner will play college ball and Rogers will be lucky to even have a look. I think Rogers is an awesome player but he is no Patrick Turner and that is fo sho my nizzle

good call dt65 patrick is without a doubt one of the best around. rogers may be fast but speed cant always do it for you. he was having a little trouble in state going across the middle and catching the ball. as for the qb situation for the cougars edward porter will probably be better than janco. turner runs a 4.4, on the other side #83 runs a low 4.5. better watch out for the cougars in 05. they are boing to drop more bombs than the air force.
