You can't name anyone who excels at just three running events. Andrew Bumbalough runs national caliber times in 3 distance events, excluding relays, and could probably run a 49 on the side. The kid is by far the most competetive runner in the state, without question; no one compares, no sprinters, no distance runners. Best all around I would say is Michael Bingham.

I will also agree with ITZME....Chris Buck is going to push Bingham in the decathlon. Bingham is a great athlete and definately one of the best in the state but if he is the best then Chris Buck is undoubtedly the second best all around track athlete. They will battle it out in state decathlon in a week at BGA and that is where this arguement shall ultimately be decided on the battle field. Some of Chris' marks this year are as follows.

pole vault-15 feet

long jump-22 ft 2 inches

high jump-6 feet 2 inches

triple jump-41 feet

110M HH-14.7

400-51.3

and to finnish off a decathlone some other results...he has thrown discus over 130ft and shot over 41 ft runs the 100 in 11.2 (h) and the 1500 in 4:40's his score in the region decathlon was 6569...and that clearly beats lamar

Without a doubt.......Scotty Greene from Unicoi County. He ran the 2 mile faster than I have ever seen in my life.

I think Zach Mobley could be named for one of the top Best athlete around. He knows how to run his events and has a great attitude on and off the field.

yeah I think that Ooltewah has some guys on their team that can be in the catagory of the BEST ALL AROUND ATHELTE. Heads up to OOLTEWAH
