I flew out of my chair after Hall's first goal; watching Volkun stone shot after shot gave me hope, second period ended and I'm thinking "20 Minutes to a Miracle." Then the roof caves in-does Kris Draper remind anyone else of Homer Simpson?

Lang's goal was sheer brilliance. We missed many opportunities (Quit passing, just shoot the d&*($n PUCK!!) Don't you know Sully wanted a few shots back. All in all, the Wings know we came to play. Regardless of how this all turns out-the lessons the Preds and Preds Management will learn from this will be invaluable next season*

I to was impressed by the first 40 minutes of hockey. It seemed when The Wings scored their first goal nashville just went flat...........

I still think we take the series. Not much else to say except I'm just glad Adam Hall will now live forever in Predator history!

Could anyone else see the tightness on the dead Things face? That is, until they scored, then they relaxed. The strength difference between the teams is a concern. We need to push on the offensive end and, I believe, take some chances to create more opportinities. The Dead Things are still suffering from quacking up last year and a "W" saturday will re-pucker their collective rear ends.

I agree... I think game two is a must win for us and then if we can take the first one at home well I think Detroit will be really rattled. We'll see. GO PREDS!

No one is talking but anything on the rumor mill about Z-man's injury? Playing only 5 d-men hurt, might want to see Hnidy or even Tootoo not scratched. Neither is a scoring threat, but they might be able to muscle some Motown Monsters out of the crease (Hnidy) or irritate the crap out of everyone else (2-2). Must put the puck on net more!

Also, the Preds will be on national TV for the first time in their history. What's up with that? I mean, we've only been a team for, what, six years?

Yeah, I agree. The Preds are being hush-hush and it's frightening me. Let's give Tootoo a try out there tomorrow.

 

Pretty sad we haven't been on nat'l TV in 6 years... but then again, I haven't liked ABC's coverage of hoceky too much anyways.
