Let's hope this is the last trip to Hockeytown for Nashville until next year! And let it be a victory! I think they can do it. Cujo hasn't been stunning against us in the past. It hurts that Zidlicky stayed back here (he came into Old Navy last night) but we've been fine without the powerplay. Though, something tells me we get a PP goal tonight. I don't see another Vokoun shutout tonight, but another stellar performance. I see something like 2-1 with Nasvhille scoring late and sending the Dead Thing fans home terribly worried.

GO PREDATORS!!!

FHSrebel27, I'm sorry, but my wife has now made arraingments to come to the game. I don't have an extra ticket. (sorry)

If I find someone with one, I'll let you know. On my word as a conservative (lol) the ticket would have been free.

Man, we looked bad tonight. TV can't do it alone.

:) now that was rough. I didn't get to see it (work) but my break was during the first part of the game and I wish I hadn't listened to it. 3-0 just like that... wow.

Dandy, it's cool. The gesture alone was super nice and I'll be sure to not rag on you as hard as I have in the past. I WILL get to the game... not sure how yet. I've been looking around on OpenSeats.com and there's a couple I'm interested in so we'll see. But I will be there cheering my lungs out... I think we can get them Saturday. I'm worried about a game 7 though...

GO PREDS!

I was also in section 117, in seats 26 and 27 in row P. Great seats, but the game could have been better!!! lol

First time I got to witness the traditional handshake after the game. Too bad the sissy player for Det-riot (we know who that is) didn't participate.

Great season. Hope there is no lockout. See everybody at the GEC next year.

Tough to see the season end. Preds probably, in truth, went about as far as they were going to go-particularly with ZERO power play scoring. Zdlicky would have been a tremendous help. I would have liked to have seen him play some. Some more thoughts:

I think Arkhipov is a gonner.

Tootoo really showed some spunk, grit, and get up and go during his shifts. If he could only find his shot.

Preds definitely need a couple of centers. This was another element that we tried to overcome against the Wings, but couldn't.

Shannahan is a punk. Yea, you sure shut up Volkun. What did you have, one goal and about 250 penalty minutes? Volkun was accurate-you guys ARE arrogant and a bunch of whiners. What's your beef? That someone dare call a spade a spade?

Nashville and it's fans do not need a lockout to squander all of this hockey madness that's been generated this last month.

Fang-tastic season Preds. We all saw what winning hockey can mean. And the nation saw the same thing. Something special is growing down at the GEC.

For all of you non-hockey fans, but still consider yourselves "sports fans"-get with the program. It is not a tough game to understand-don't let a perceived regional bias get in the way of latching onto a real blood and guts performance sport.

Best of luck Preds, let's do it again soon!

    • As I said somewhere earlier in the thread, the original plans had no outdoor athletic facilities being part of the campus.  The original plan was for HVA to use facilities at nearby schools.  Very late in the process they came up with a plan and found budget to have minimal facilities and crammed them in to space that never was intended for athletic facilities.
    • Agreed, the way the field is turned you get the evening sun blasting right into the press box making filming a nightmare there, plus its so low.  The field is land locked and parking is a nightmare too. Seems like Knox County could have done a lot better there with the design and the quality.
    • I think this upcoming team may be pretty good, they will definately be better up front and if they can replace Dozier, Heyward and Rembert, they can be real good. They have the same strange schedule, but this time with 5 straight home games. The road games at Jeff County, Powell will be tough to open up with and the back side at Bearden is the tough game there.  One question I had if anyone knows: There has been some talk of an indoor practice facility in the past, with the new track area now more of a track area, that kind of leaves a need for a football practice area. Just sayin....
    • I find it hard to believe that 70% of a schools enrollment is zoned for another school district
    • I was told that the indoor facility is happening regardless of the vote on the taxes but it would be a much bigger project with more funds if they vote goes through
