I'm not sure if its the best, but one that I love to watch is the kingston/OS rivalry. This year its at Kingston and Kingston hasn't been beat at home by a roane county team in 17 years. Rockwood will have the opportunity first, but week 5 brings in OS. This year should be a good one.

Just about every team has at least one rivalry game, sometimes more. Just wondering what people think are some of the best rivalries in high school, bad blood or not.

Riverdale vs. Smyrna just to many classless stuff the past few years done by smyrna for this not to be one

im gonna have to say maryville vs. alcoa. but im not sure why it is considered a rivalry anymore, its usually a pretty lopsided game, but this year could be different...but probably not

 

 

If you're not from Blount County then you wouldn't understand why it's still considered a rivalry! I don't care if the record was a 100-1 it's still the best rivalry in the state in my opinion!

If you want TRUE bad blood between 2 school, I don't know if I'd call this a rivalry or not, per se, but Coalfield and Unaka have no love lost toward each other. That's all I'm gonna say about it.
