Kos actually outkicked me but it was a close race the whole way. I stitched up some but I don't think it effected my race. A state champion from Christianburg in Virginia smoked it from the start. We (Science Hill) did okay for missing three varsity guys and Elizabethdon did good too.

Agreed there is a lot of runners back...but hes lowered his time significantly because he is still younger and his body matured a lot from last year i bet he'll run mid 15's by state.

I agree. Chris Berry has gotten faster and has matured alot from last year. People do not give this kid enough credit. He works his butt off, not saying that nobody else does, but he works incredibly hard. Runners have returned from last year but Berry is a much stronger, smarter runner...i think he will be top 5.

Who has the toughest region? Are the predictions getting clear since there is less than a month to state.

For the girls its pretty much coming down to Brentwood, White Station, Morristown West and maybe one or two other teams. I am not real sure about the boys. I have heard Houston is the team to beat.
