bhs, you have to remember lincoln county isnt nearly as good as they were last year, or the previous years. on a good day, i think that siegel could hang with them also. talking about how good blackman hangs with lincoln county wont impress anybody. our boys are ready this coming week. watson will have no choice but to let zeke let if fly and when he throws, he's dangerous.

if siegel can score first and have long, consistent, drives eating clock, i think they may be able to pull this one off.....there are 2 things that can not happen though:

1. siegel can not afford to give up special teams touchdowns and that will be tough with blackman's returners speed they gave up two kick return touchdowns vs. coffee county last night, i believe 1 punt and one kickoff, maybe two kickoffs, i cant remember very vividly what exactly happened but it was bad, take those away and they lose 35-21, or maybe closer since returns are huge momentum boosters

2. Siegel's secondary has to get more aggressive, the corners and safety's were responsible for at least 3 of the touchdowns last night, they need to step up and start making some plays on the pass defense and stopping the sweeps and tosses outside, that killed them vs. coffee county

i hate to say it but leadoff you're right. our special teams has got to buc up and hit somebody. and yes our secondary needs to get touch too. jessie russel and brock marlin have way more potential than they showed last night. this is andrew wards first year at siegel so i dont know his potential on defense. brian hughs at strong safety though, did a great job last night with a couple of clutch tackles, one being before half time, right before nunley was about to score again. he isnt a big kid, but he defies the law of physics, hitting the big guys hard and is a very aggressive tackler. our secondary has potential. they just gotta play hard to show it

    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..
    • I have a sophomore that can do 177 (preferred) or 192. Sent you an email.
    • speaking of board members how can a man get arrested 12 days ago and still be head coaching a team in TC school system? looks like your right about the tc board members. I bet it would be different if they had a kid on the team
