Creekwood DOMINATES Sycamore!

Hey FatCat, Jake Vaughn is a linebacker for the Sycamore War Eagles.  The runningback for the Creekwood Red Hawks is Josh Vaughn.  Just thought that I would make that clear.  They also have three other backs who all ran the ball successfully tonight and they are: Bill Bennett, Ben Steverson, and Jeff Holt (who scored three touchdowns in tonight's game).  Is tink69 the right tackle on Creekwood's offensive line?  If so, then he is actually a decent football player.  Once again, congrats to the Red Hawks on a great victory and best of luck the rest of the way.

Tinks 69 isn't a football player. He is just a very pumped fan who likes to talk alot of smack.I will say he was at the game put no specifics about him. This message is from a creekwood football player.

p.s. #69 is Cody Mcneal and he is to classy of a player to talk that much smack.

great game sycamore .wish you the best of luck

I heard the same thing on the radio last night. They said he hurt his arm. But it obviously did not affect his throwing the ball. He drove Sycamore down the field throwing the ball (with the help of some Creekwood penalties) at the end of the game.

Knowing how tough Garza is, I suspect that he will be going at strong each week.

However, based on what I heard about their line play being weak in the pre-season and the way their line was dominated last night.....I suspect he may be using his legs a lot more than his arm as the season progresses.

Congrats to CW on the win.  You could tell from the opening drive how the night was going to go.  I was amazed how well CW's running game flowed.  They seldom fell backward.  What happened to #9?  I noticed that he already had his pads off before halftime and seemed to be limping.

#9 [Josh Vaughn] reinjured his ankle on the touchdown run in the second quarter when he was tackled in the endzone. He will be back soon ready to play.

    • Yep..could possibly have 3 teams ranked in top ten in the same four team district.
    • He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons
    • A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.
    • Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
