coasterboarder
Daniel jones was running in the high 16's at Vaughns Gap which is a pretty tough course. Following close behind was Kyle Mayo. i think kyle is who coasterboard is talking about. i am probably wrong. FRA lost a lot of good runners. Individual i think Daniel. as a team..... who knows? 825337985 Kyle is solid, but FRA always strives to compete as a team, not individuals- this year, they have 3 or 4 guys at the top within 30 seconds, and then another group of four not too far back. It would be nice for a FRAian to win the title, but I wasnt necessarily speaking of FRA. This is looking to be one of the best years in recent history for A-AA. Last year (especially track) was a turning point for the classification, and this year I think it will start to show in XC. Here's a fairly safe prediction- The winning time from last year will not win this year.....

Its finish line is literally downhill from the start, and there is only one slight hill which really doesnt even count....

I would bet his times will drop steadily all year.

arunner
i guess we will see about fra today at the race.... and i agree with coasterboard. the winning time this year will be faster then the time last year. daniel will be pushing coming out of a great track season. so will rommell(?)(sorry for the misspelling). i am not sure about too many guys outside of our region. elizabethan has one guy i think but i do not know his name. my guess the winning time will be 15:15ish. there will be a couple of guys fighting for that time also. if it was just up to one guy i wouldn`t put the time that low, but with so many fighting for it, the times will drop. No one has been saying that for the last 3 years. You won't be thrilled with the times in today's meet, but you also won't be seeing the REAl team. No one accept Lipscomb ran their varsity today. Romell (spelling?) didn't run, Bijan(spelling?) didn't run and neither did FRA's varsity. I won;t say how many, but it's more than you would think. arunner
how did lipscomb get pulled into this conversation???? plus there 3 and 4 guy didn`t run because of being sick and jordan and david held back because of a very hard workout today. they didn`t even know that they had one until school today. so coasterboard excitement didn`t overwhelm the lipscomb tent after the race. coasterboarder
how did lipscomb get pulled into this conversation825342317 umm... because thats who beat FRA..... which is what we were talking about. as far as celebration goes, I just said they were pretty pleased with themselves, If they weren't, Im sorry you guys aren't happy with success.... its good to hear that you guys held out your numbers 3 and 4 runners, but what in the world does your #1 and #2 holding back have to do with it? They couldve run 3:54 mile pace and still scored the same amount of points.... it doesnt matter in the team scoring. If you think FRA held out runners equivalent to your 3 and 4, youre in for a long season. At this point last year, you guys were beating us solidly every race, but this year, you barely beat our JV guys, so Id stop arguing for Lipscomb now if I were you....
