Actually qwert i was talking about this quote.  District II is the better district.  Sure FRA would give Baylor a game.. but not exactly a good one.  Baylor killed both Brentwood and JPII. sorry

Patagonia appears to be both biased and clueless.....we will never get to see, but I only expressed it would be a good game.....dismissing FRA shows how little soccer knowledge is being evidenced by the "clothing line".

i agree about heather from ccs. she is way overrated when it comes to soccer but when it comes to track she is the best by far. i hope that she does really well with track but soccer is over.

why doesn*t anyone give Jessie Watson or Holly Hullender anything. They were both best of preps. Jessie was MVP of the district, region, and made all state but yall don*t give her anything.

Garman, Vooys win All-America honors in soccer

JESSICA HOPP

Staff Writer

Two Midstate players were named All-Americans yesterday by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Franklin Road Academy senior Kristin Garman made the team as a defender, and Hendersonville High School graduate Xander Vooys was given the same honor for his performance as a forward for the Commandos.

Each player was one of 75 total selections.

Garman was one of just eight defenders to be selected for the honor.

She was also the only female player from Tennessee to be named an All-American.

She will play for Florida State in the fall.

In her four years at FRA, Garman played in the state title game three times and was a member of two state championship teams.

As a forward her freshman and sophomore years, she tallied 56 goals and 27 assists. In the last two years as the Panthers' starting sweeper she led a defense that allowed just 28 goals, while her team scored 197.

She was named to the all-state team each of her four years, and was the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association Class A/AA State Player of the Year in 2003 and 2004.

''She warrants a level beyond all-state,'' FRA Coach Ken McDonald said.

''We are all excited for her. She has obviously done a great job representing our program.''

    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..
    • I have a sophomore that can do 177 (preferred) or 192. Sent you an email.
    • speaking of board members how can a man get arrested 12 days ago and still be head coaching a team in TC school system? looks like your right about the tc board members. I bet it would be different if they had a kid on the team
