...That's because Tom didn't give you the whole picture...here are the numbers on Josef Rutley:(Region 3-2A Champion Tyner "RAMS")

1188 yards rushing on 114 attempts, 10.0 yards per carry, 15 rushing td's, 7 catches for 163 yards, 23 yds per catch, with 2 td's, also plays Defensive End , has 89 total tackles, including 51 solos and 22 for loss.

...Because of the number of weapons Tyner has on offense, Joe rarely gets the "touches" as compared to other rb's, however, as you can see when he does gets the ball he makes good use of his attempts!!!

It is hard for two players from the smae area to get nominated for the award. Usually their is a player from east, middle, and west tennessee. rod smith was the better player and meant more to his team and that is why he got the nod over bell. that is how it will be this year as guy will get the nod over weathers. that is just my opinion.

I dont know how the nominations go, but last year there was two from the west. one from here and one from carver. Rod deserved it last year more than anyone. terrance bell was a great running back. more the scatback and it showed more on the turf. rod was more a run over you running back. plus he was the hardest hitter on the team. he was the man.
