2025 Rankings update: New Addition Linebackers

Cord is one of the top tacklers across northern California, and one of the top defenders returning across the Bay Area. The talented rising Senior is coming off a stellar Junior campaign where he went for 100+ tackles 10+ TFL's and 2 INT's and we should see more of the same in 2024.   Cord is a true in the box banger with coverage skills too that does a nice job at operating through traffic with hand violence while showing excellent change of direction abilities and lateral movement in tight windows. He also flashes closing speed when knifing into the backfield and is a very sure tackler in open space that explodes their contact in packs a punch of the point of attack. Cord is a no brainer next level kid at the D3+ level, and should see D3+ roster spot offers come his way down the stretch of his Senior season.     Raguse is a hard nosed second level linebacker that can play either inside or outside, and is a dominating edge presence that can shoot his hands, establish gap control in the run game and has elite closing speed from the outside. On tape, he has tackling abilities in space and is a high motor kid that plays with violence at all times and is always looking for turnovers while having good position versatility at either or inside linebacker. The rising Senior checks into our ranks as a top 25 linebacker and inside the top 350 within the state and is in line for a monster Senior season for the Griffins.     Vinson has great length for the linebacker position, and is a rangy explosive and physical player that can cover in space, trigger in tight windows and provides a nice pass rush form the second level. On tape, he shows that he can trigger downhill quickly, tracks down ball carriers backside and takes good angles in the open field while also providing a pass rush both on the edge and up the middle. Vinson should have another impact Senior season for El Dorado and is one of the better regional players to watch out for.
