He's now playing at IMG Academy in Bradenton

Former Ponte Vedra baseball player Max Foody signed a national letter of intent Friday to play for Florida State.

After originally committing to Florida, Foody suffered a torn labrum, and the offer was withdrawn. Foody left Ponte Vedra after his sophomore season and transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton. Foody is a left-handed pitcher who was named a Perfect Game Underclass First Team All-American. He played designated hitter for the 2010 Ponte Vedra team that advanced to the state semifinals.
