South Fork scores six runs in the seventh to walk off Benjamin

Baseball

South Fork 11, Benjamin 10: Richie Hauck’s two-run base hit tied the game in the seventh and the Bulldogs (4-6) walked off Benjamin on a passed ball to score six runs in the final frame to score the win. Conner Wiggins went 2-for-3 with a double, Bryce Saylor drove in two runs and DJ Johns also drove in two runs and picked up the win in relief on the mound for South Fork.

Okeechobee 3, Lincoln Park Academy 1: Jacob Hardy struck out 10 in five innings and Mason Diefenbach drove in a run and worked two scoreless innings to earn the save in the win for the Brahmans (3-3).

Vero Beach 10, Fort Pierce Westwood 0 (5 innings): Cooper Massey had a double and drove in three runs and Will Picchiarini went 1-for-2 with an RBI to lift the Fighting Indians (8-0). Travis Camp struck out four in two innings as part of a shutout on the mound for Vero Beach.

Softball

Vero Beach 13, John Carroll Catholic 3 (5 innings): Erin Kleinschmidt struck out seven and allowed two earned runs and Justice McKinney went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the way for the Fighting Indians (8-4). Mackenzie Tessier added two hits for Vero Beach.

Kaley Brancaccio went 2-for-3 to lead the Rams (5-4) on offense.

Girls Lacrosse

South Fork 14, Melbourne 5: Kayla Jones scored three goals and added three assists and Katie Hale also scored three goals to pace the Bulldogs (5-2). Molly O’Donnell, Ashley Stocker and Emma Boyer each scored two goals, Zoe Williams had a goal and four assists, Avery Weikart scored one goal and Sydnie O’Connor made four saves in goal for South Fork.
