Bishop Kenny senior Jasmyne Roberts closed her Crusaders career as runner-up for the Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Basketball award, capping a sensational high school career on the First Coast.

Braden River guard O'Mariah Gordon placed first in tight balloting with 147 points, followed by Roberts at 131, Tampa Plant forward Kendal Cheesman at 129 and Tallahassee FAMU guard Erin Turral at 101. Roberts and Gordon each received seven first-place votes.

Roberts, signed with Miami, led the Crusaders to their third consecutive Florida High School Athletic Association final four, with averages of 21.6 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 3.6 steals. She finished among Northeast Florida's all-time top 10 career scorers, with 2,224 points, along with 1,005 rebounds, and earlier won the Class 4A player of the year award.

First-place finisher Gordon, a Florida State signee, averaged 23.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists at Braden River, despite a foot injury that sidelined her for more than one month in midseason.
