Taylor Blackshear, Benjamin sophomore guard: Blackshear had a breakout sophomore season, leading the Buccaneers in all major statistical categories. She averaged 16 points, 11.1 rebounds, 4.7 steals and 4.6 assists per game.

Checorey Bouie, Cardinal Newman sophomore forward: Bouie, who transferred from Park Vista to the Crusaders, led her new team with 12.3 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.

Jordana Codio, American Heritage-Delray junior guard: Codio had her season cut short by injury, but the Wisconsin commit still demonstrated why she was one of the top players in the area. Codio, a two-time Fab Five pick, averaged 14.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.

Mo’Nique Joseph, King’s Academy junior forward: Joseph averaged a double-double for a stellar Lions team, averaging 10.3 points and a team-best 10.2 rebounds per game.

Jasmine Patrick, Benjamin junior guard: Patrick had a strong junior season, finishing second on the team in points (15.1) and assists (4.3) per game.

Stephanie Theodossakos, St. Andrew’s senior wing: Theodossakos had a strong all-around season for the Scots, leading the team with 13.8 points per game. She also had 6.6 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game.

Brett Studley, American Heritage-Delray: Studley, boasting a team that included Fab Five pick Jordana Codio and eventual player of the year Alancia Ramsey, led the Stallions to the program’s first trip to the state Final Four. Heritage went 13-5 for the season, which included a player demonstration in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. The Stallions boasted a strong defense, which allowed only 43 points per game.
